Well, during that time I was often walking the whole night throught, wine-bottle in one, cigarette in the other hand. I sometimes slept in the graveyard or climbed on buildings and slept on the rooftops, sometimes I spent the nights in the forest but most of the time I was just walking walking walking. Often the nights ended at a monument that I like a lot. For a long time I tried not to be seen - this song tells about the night, I was walking throught the rain the whole night and rested by the monument with no ambition to move since the day won't break anyway.
